Products to meet latest efficiency and no-load standards
All solutions offer high active mode efficiencies and ultra-low no-load power consumptions to comply with:
- Energy Star version 2.0 – introduced 1 November 2008.
- Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 – standards on power supplies became US federal law on 1 July 2008 (includes California Energy Commission regulations).
- EU EPS code of conduct, version 4 - published April 2009.

these new standards.
For more information on the techniques CamSemi uses to enable high
efficiencies and low no-load power consumption, such as zero-voltage
switching and low voltage CMOS process, see our efficiency
bulletin.

All CamSemi products are designed to help manufacturers introduce low cost, more energy-efficient power conversion products. And to provide additional features that:
- cut component counts;
- reduce BOM costs;
- simplify designs;
- speed up standard and regulatory approvals;
- and improve the flexibility of manufacturing processes.
