Quality

The company’s quality policy was adopted in November 2005 in readiness for volume supply:

  • The company was certified to ISO9001:2000 in March 2006.
  • All products have full reliability qualification testing and are RoHS compliant.

Environment

CamSemi's environmental policy was adopted by the board in November 2007 as:

"CamSemi is committed to helping customers achieve more energy- and materials-efficient offline power conversion and as a developer and provider of integrated circuits endeavours to be environmentally responsible.

We have an active environmental management system that ensures compliance to all applicable legal environmental requirements together with those agreed with our customers.

All employees work actively to prevent pollution, reduce waste, recycle and minimise the company’s impact on the environment. To this end we set environmental objectives and measure our performance in order to maintain continuous improvement.

Our products are designed to assist our customers in achieving the most cost and materials efficient energy conversion and therefore contribute to a global effort in saving worldwide resources."

In addition:

  • CamSemi was registered to ISO14001:2004 in March 2008.
  • All key suppliers are also ISO14001 certified.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

By virtue of supplying assembled circuit boards for evaluation of our components, CamSemi is obliged to register under the WEEE Regulations.

Our WEEE Producer registration number is WEE/JD0437YR. This proves that we are formally registered with a legally approved Compliance Scheme. The Scheme we are registered with is called "B2B Compliance". B2B Compliance takes on the legal responsibilities for the reporting on, and the collection and treatment of, all WEEE that CamSemi is obligated for - and ensures that the appropriate recycling targets are met on this WEEE.
